The construction of Lokinpesä was completed in the summer of 2000. Metsätähti, by the log house manufacturer Honkarakenne, is a one-and-a-half story villa built from round logs. It has 60.5 square metres of living space and is beautifully situated in the forest, close to the shoreline. Lokinpesä accommodates 8 people. It has electric heating and a heat-retaining fireplace. The villa sits on a 5000 square metre plot of land with a façade and shoreline opening to the sea. The closest neighbours are 100 metres away. The garden has been landscaped into two levels joined by a few short steps, with the villa and patio located at the top and the grill, dartboard, swing and sandbox for the kids at the bottom.

The seashore opens out to the west and is extremely child-friendly with a sand/stone bottom and shallow water. The swimming depth is 3 metres from the shore, which makes paddling easy for the kids.

FACILITIES

The kitchenette has all the standard kitchen facilities such as an electric stove and dishwasher. The tableware is for 8 people including cutlery. There are two bedrooms downstairs, a wood heated sauna and bathroom with a shower and toilet. Upstairs there are 2+2 beds with a TV. The stairs have safety gates fitted for kids. The beds have a blanket and pillow, but no bed clothing is provided.
